Canvas + Loft is growing, and we're looking for a Client Experience Consultant to join our team.

This isn't a traditional “salesperson” role.

Our consultants don't use high-pressure tactics or push customers toward products they don't need. Instead, we believe in educative, consultative selling — understanding the customer, providing knowledge, presenting the right options, and helping them feel confident about their decision.

At the same time, this is a performance-driven role. When you create exceptional experiences, build trust, and help customers find the right products, your earning potential reflects your success.

Our Client Experience Consultants are an important part of creating that experience.

What You will Do

As a Client Experience Consultant, you'll be responsible for creating an exceptional experience from the moment a customer walks into our showroom.

You will:

Welcome customers and create a warm, genuine, and professional experience
Ask thoughtful questions to understand their needs, lifestyle, preferences, space, and budget
Listen carefully and identify what the customer is actually looking for
Educate customers about different furniture options, materials, features, configurations, and benefits
Help customers compare options and understand the differences between products
Make thoughtful recommendations based on the customer's needs — not simply what's easiest to sell
Help customers visualize how products can work in their home
Build trust and develop genuine relationships with customers
Guide customers through the decision-making process
Follow up with customers when appropriate and continue building the relationship
Stay knowledgeable about our products, promotions, systems, and customer experience standards
Work collaboratively with your team to create a positive and energetic showroom environment
Achieve individual and team performance goals through exceptional customer experiences

The goal isn't to “sell” someone something.

The goal is to help the customer make the right decision — and earn the opportunity to serve them.

Experience is helpful. Personality and attitude are more important.

You do not need furniture experience.

You do not need previous sales experience.

We provide the training, product knowledge, systems, and coaching.

Compensation & Benefits $48,000 annual fixed package + commissions ($70,000 – $120,000+ Annual Earning Potential)
