Pacific Apex Industrial is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Working Millwright Supervisor to join our reliability maintenance team in the Camrose area.
This is a hands on leadership position servicing grain and fertilizer terminals through preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, equipment installations, breakdown response, and facility improvement projects.
The successful candidate will work directly alongside the crew while leading maintenance activities, coordinating daily work, and training and mentoring apprentices.
Most work will be completed in and around Camrose. Candidates must currently live within a 75 kilometre radius of Camrose, Alberta, or be willing to relocate within this area. Travel to other customer facilities will be required occasionally based on operational needs.

Position Overview
As a Working Millwright Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and perform reliability maintenance activities at grain and fertilizer terminals
- Supervise daily maintenance tasks while remaining actively involved in the work
- Train, mentor, and support apprentices and junior tradespeople
- Complete preventative and predictive maintenance inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and bulk material handling systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and help identify long term corrective solutions
- Lead equipment installations, replacements, alignments, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate labour, equipment, tools, materials, and daily work priorities
- Communicate directly with customers regarding maintenance needs, repairs, recommendations, and upcoming work
- Read and interpret drawings, layouts, manuals, and manufacturer documentation
- Support safe rigging, lifting, hoisting, and equipment handling activities
- Complete field reports, inspections, maintenance documentation, and project reports
- Work alongside welding, fabrication and construction teams when required
- Maintain a high standard of safety, workmanship, housekeeping, and customer service
- Travel to other customer locations when required
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic/Millwright certification is strongly preferred
- Previous experience leading crews or supervising industrial maintenance activities
- Strong hands on mechanical troubleshooting and repair capabilities
- Experience working in grain and fertilizer handling facilities
- Familiarity with grain and fertilizer applications, processes, and conveyance equipment
- Experience maintaining bucket elevators, drag conveyors, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, gearboxes, drives etc.
- Strong understanding of bulk material handling systems
- Ability to organize work, communicate priorities, and lead by example
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel when required
- Must live within a 75 kilometre radius of Camrose, Alberta, or be willing to relocate within this area
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, reliability, and customer service
Additional Assets
- Reliability maintenance or preventative maintenance program experience
- Welding experience or CWB certification, including SMAW All Position
- Experience with shutdowns, capital projects, and equipment installations
- Current CSTS, First Aid, Fall Protection, and Confined Space certifications
