Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant/ Front to support our culinary team in providing exceptional food service. This role involves assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent serving skills, and experience in food handling and meal preparation. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable restaurant experience and develop culinary skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
Help with food serving to customers or staff as needed
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
Ensure proper handling and storage of food items to prevent contamination
Follow all health and safety regulations during meal preparation and service
Restock supplies and organize kitchen storage areas for efficiency
Support the team during busy meal times to ensure timely service

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards is advantageous
Experience in meal preparation, cooking, or the food industry will be considered a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: Up to $17.60 per hour
