Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and committed to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, and a strong understanding of food safety standards is essential.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout shifts
Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
Collaborate with team members to meet service goals during busy hours
Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of shortages

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the kitchen as needed
