Full job description

BOCADO RESTAURANT We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Staff for our location in Collingwood!

BOCADO RESTAURANT is a Spanish inspired restaurant, with a location in Prince Edward County, BOCADO is a true expression of the Mediterranean, and Spanish cuisine through its colourful menu and thoughtful décor.

The Bar team will play a key role in supporting the restaurants vision for high quality service and ensuring that it is delivered, with a hands-on approach in a professional, safe and efficient manner.

You thrive in the fast-paced atmosphere and love coming to work every day! Your 3- 5 years of service experience in a similair role combined with your practical knowledge makes you an ideal candidate for this role.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with management of day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Lead guests through interesting and diverse cocktails, wine lists and food menu
Help to lead staff training and development in the areas of the bar, and overall service excellence
You pride yourself on customer service excellence, drink preparation, and food safety protocols.
Work with Bar manager to develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to maintain high satisfaction levels

Qualifications

You have a great sense of passion for wine, food, and culinary excellence. You are a hospitality professional that is eager to share your knowledge for cocktails.

You show true initiative, drive and stamina and are willing to go above and beyond to engage our guests sincerely. You are looking for a position where you can grow your knowledge and experience and advance your career.

Strong organizational skills
Previous experience with silverware POS preferred but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
