Full-Time | Part-Time Awake Overnight | Casual Relief

We are currently recruiting Child and Youth Workers for a variety of positions within our Live-In Treatment Programs in the Oshawa and Ajax Area:

Full-Time Child and Youth Workers
Part-Time Awake Overnight Child and Youth Workers
Casual Relief Child and Youth Workers

The Role

As a Child and Youth Worker, you will support children and youth with mental health and behavioural needs in a therapeutic live-in treatment setting.

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic support and corrective emotional experiences
Contribute to and implement individualized safety plans
Teach life and social skills both in-home and in the community
Accompany youth to appointments, visits, and community programming
Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and reports using our electronic database
Work collaboratively with other members of the treatment team
Offer support as needed within our Day Treatment Program

What We're Looking For

Experience working with high-risk and vulnerable children and youth
A strong sense of compassion and commitment to trauma-informed and anti-oppressive care
Ability to work independently while also being a reliable and collaborative team member
Post-secondary diploma or degree in a social services-related field
Clear Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening and Broad Sector Check
