Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. In this role, you will support the kitchen staff in food preparation and ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the food industry while contributing to a dynamic team that values quality and service.

Duties

Food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes and cooking dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
Operate kitchen equipment (tandoor clay oven, fryer, stove, etc.).
Cook or assist with cooking under the supervision of the head chef or cook.
Maintain correct cooking times and temperatures for different Indian dishes.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
Help with meal preparation during busy service times, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and assist in serving food as needed.

Requirements

Must have 5 or more years Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment.
Knowledge of food handling practices and basic food safety standards is essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food service.
