Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager/Cook to lead our culinary team and ensure the delivery of exceptional food experiences. This role combines hands-on cooking with team supervision, emphasizing food quality, safety, and efficient kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and possess a passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes that delight our guests. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized kitchen while inspiring your team to perform at their best.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely food preparation
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, including cooks and food service team members, fostering a collaborative and positive environment
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
Manage food handling procedures to adhere to safety standards and regulations
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Enforce food safety protocols, including sanitation practices and proper temperature controls
Assist with training staff on cooking techniques, food presentation, and customer service standards
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment maintenance and compliance with health regulations

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Extensive food handling knowledge and commitment to food safety standards
Previous restaurant management or hospitality experience preferred
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food industry trends, restaurant management practices, and customer service excellence
