About the Role

As a General Ledger Accountant, you will support reliable financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be part of the Finance team and work closely with internal departments as well as external clients. You will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting activities while supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvement within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle accounting and month-end close activities
Support year-end closing processes
Perform general ledger, bank, and intercompany reconciliations
Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and key expense accounts
Prepare and file sales tax returns
Monitor cash flow and support supplier payment processes
Review AP/AR reconciliations and ensure accurate transaction posting
Assist with variance analysis and financial reporting
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
Support special projects and other accounting activities as needed

Your Profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who demonstrates accountability, accuracy, and strong analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance,
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience,
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel,
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
High attention to detail and accuracy

À propos du poste

En tant que Comptable général(e), vous jouerez à assurer des rapports financiers fiables, à maintenir des contrôles internes solides et à soutenir la performance globale de l’entreprise.

Relevant de la Contrôleuse financière, vous ferez partie de l’équipe Finance et collaborerez étroitement avec différents départements ainsi qu’avec des partenaires internes et externes. Vous serez responsable de la gestion du cycle comptable complet tout en contribuant à l’amélioration continue des processus.

Responsabilités principales:

Gérer la comptabilité complète et les activités de clôture mensuelle
Participer au processus de clôture annuelle
Effectuer les rapprochements du grand livre, bancaires et intercompagnies
Gérer les immobilisations, l’amortissement et les principaux comptes de dépenses
Préparer et soumettre les déclarations de taxes de vente
Assurer le suivi de la trésorerie et soutenir les paiements fournisseurs
Réviser les rapprochements des comptes fournisseurs et clients et assurer l’exactitude des écritures
Participer à l’analyse des écarts et à la préparation des rapports financiers
Identifier des opportunités d’amélioration des processus comptables et contrôles internes
Soutenir les projets spéciaux et autres activités comptables au besoin

Votre profil

Nous recherchons une personne rigoureuse, collaborative et orientée vers les résultats, capable d’évoluer dans un environnement dynamique.

Baccalauréat en comptabilité ou en finance
Minimum de 2 à 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en comptabilité
Maîtrise de Microsoft Excel
Excellentes compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes
Grande attention aux détails et souci de l’exactitude
