The Contents Technician is part of a committed team performing contents cleaning services on site and in our warehouse. This team provides exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Tagging (attach labels / tags on furniture and appliances)
- Cleaning of contents both in the warehouse and on sites with attention to detail as directed by lead hand or project manager.
- Packing / moving and handling of contents items (including larger furniture items for example) on and off sites.
- Packing out (moving) and loading to moving trucks (cube trucks) of contents items for transport between job sites, warehouses and disposal sites.
- Driving of 16’ (minimum) cube / moving trucks with general vehicle care responsibilities during day-to-day use (cleaning, performing required checks, sign out of keys).
- Performing the physical disposal of waste from job sites and warehouses when required.
- Packing and organization of storage facilities (indoor storage vaults, on site storage pods, Seacan units).
- Communication and problem solving of day-to-day expected logistical challenges and working with crew lead and department management to find solutions to problems.
- Manipulate contents (pack boxes and move them to another location) Assist with quick dust before resetting contents
- Acceptance of supply deliveries with unloading and loading of supplies and equipment between warehouse locations.
- Inventorying and packing contents of homes and businesses
- Daily work life in this role will involve working in outdoor conditions as needed in various seasonal weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, restoration, or related fields is highly preferred
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Clear criminal background check
- Able to lift and move 50 lbs repetitively for the whole day
- Valid Class 5 driver's license along with a clear 3-year drivers abstract is required
- Experience driving a moving truck / cube truck or similar is preferred
- Training of job role and industry specific requirements will be provided to the right individual
- A great attitude, punctuality, and excellent attendance
- The ability to work within a team
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Follow detailed instructions and be able to take direction

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

- Driving: 3 years (required)
- Driving 20 ft (minimum) cube / moving trucks: 1 year (required)
