Location: 4420 - 76 Ave, T6B 0A5, Edmonton, Alberta.

Requirements:

ALL applicants MUST have a working vehicle to commute to work.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Overtime opportunities are available with the option to work on Fridays.

Position Overview:

As an Autobody Painter/Prepper, you will be responsible for prepping, priming, painting, and finishing automotive parts and components with precision and attention to detail. You will work in a fast-paced environment and ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare automotive parts and surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking.

Experience in preparation and application of all primers, sealers, base coats, color coats and clear coats.

Apply primer, paint, and finish to parts following company specifications.

Experience with Large Trucks and Equipment is an asset.

Some removal and re-installation of bolt on components required

Inspect work for any imperfections and take corrective actions as needed.

Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards.

Follow all procedures for mixing and handling paints and chemicals.

Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools in a safe manner.

Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an Autobody Painter and/or Prepper is required.

Strong knowledge of automotive paints, primers, and finishing products.

Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification in painting or related fields is a plus.
