Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Front of House Staff member and be the welcoming face that creates memorable experiences for our guests! In this energetic role, you’ll be the first point of contact, delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food and beverage service, cash handling, and restaurant operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a lively, hospitable environment where guests feel valued and eager to return. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, hospitality, and guest relations within a dynamic food industry setting.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive customer service throughout their visit
Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques
Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all front-of-house areas, including dining spaces, counters, and service stations

Qualifications

Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cashiering and order processing
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous; kitchen experience is a bonus but not required
Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
