Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Recruiter West to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will drive talent acquisition efforts across Western Canada, connecting with top candidates and building strong relationships to support our company's growth. Your proactive approach will ensure we attract, engage, and hire the best talent in the transportation sector.

Duties

Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and sourcing to selection and hiring.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring and urgent staffing needs.
Write, post, and promote job opportunities across various recruitment platforms and channels.
Review applications, conduct phone screenings, coordinate interviews, and support the selection process.
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure positions are filled efficiently and within targeted timelines.
Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Maintain accurate recruitment records, applicant tracking systems, and key recruitment metrics.
Participate in job fairs, hiring events, recruitment campaigns, and other talent attraction initiatives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and practices.

Experience

2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a high-volume or operational environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
A strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple recruitment needs in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
Results-oriented, with a strong focus on achieving recruitment targets and meeting deadlines.
