Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a Journeyman / Red Seal Automotive Service Technician for our Cam Clark Ford Lincoln location in North Vancouver, BC.

With over 20 dealership and car service locations stretching across Alberta, British Columbia, Montana, and California, Cam Clark Auto Group is an industry leader in providing outstanding customer experience since 1987, while also striving to offer an amazing employee experience as well!

Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are maintained and repaired safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You will be accountable for:

Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle concerns.
Performing maintenance, repair, and warranty work.
Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections.
Repairing engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brake, and electrical systems.
Completing routine services including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and alignments.
Following manufacturer repair procedures and warranty requirements.
Accurately documenting diagnostics, repairs, and recommendations.
Communicating effectively with Service Advisors, Parts Personnel, and fellow Technicians.
Maintaining productivity, efficiency, and workmanship standards.
Assisting and mentoring apprentices when appropriate.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications

Required

Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certification
Valid Driver's Licence with a clean Driver's Abstract
Minimum 2 years of technician experience
Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and documentation skills
Commitment to quality workmanship and safety

Preferred

Ford dealership experience
Ford STARS training
Ford Senior or Master Technician designation
EV / High-Voltage Certification
Diesel / Power Stroke experience
ADAS Diagnostics and Calibration experience
Advanced electrical diagnostic skills
Proven history of strong flat-rate productivity

You do not need to currently work for Ford to apply.

Employment Details

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: $45.00 to $55.00+ Flat Rate per Hour. Compensation will be determined based on experience, certifications, manufacturer training, and overall qualifications.
