Job Description: Screen Printing Operator
Company: Promo Solution
Location: Ottawa, ON
Position Type: Full-time

Position Summary
Promo Solution is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Screen Printing Operator to join our production team. The Screen Printing Operator will be responsible for preparing materials, setting up and operating screen printing equipment, and producing high-quality printed apparel and promotional products according to customer orders and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set up screens, inks, garments, and materials for each print job.
Operate screen printing equipment to print logos, designs, and artwork on apparel and promotional products.
Review job orders, artwork instructions, and production requirements before printing.
Monitor print quality throughout production and make adjustments as needed.
Check finished products for accuracy, placement, colour, and overall quality.
Clean screens, tools, equipment, and work areas after each job.
Perform basic equipment maintenance and report any issues to the supervisor.
Follow health and safety procedures when working with inks, chemicals, heat equipment, and production tools.
Work with the production team to complete orders accurately and on time.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in screen printing or a similar production/printing role.
Experience setting up and operating screen printing equipment.
Ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.

Working Conditions

Regular use of screen printing equipment, inks, screens, dryers, heat press, and related tools.
The role may involve standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks.
Personal protective equipment may be required depending on the task.
