Full job description

Pride Marine Group is currently seeking a full-time permanent Yard Crew/Delivery Driver to join our Rosseau Lake crew in Minett, ON.

What You'll Do

Actively contribute to a positive team culture and work cohesively across all departments to achieve shared goals
Assist in the summerizing process by unwrapping, moving and cleaning boats
Assist in the winterization process by moving, cleaning and shrink wrapping boats
Communicate with CSR on efficient scheduling
Maintain a clean and professional location by removing and properly disposing of waste
Utilizing a forklift, tractor and/or travel lift to safely and efficiently lift boats
Maintain inventory of where boats and trailers are located in the yard
Tow, move and launch boats
Support detailers, technicians and other crew as needed
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
Trailer boats to and from customers and other Pride locations, launching when required
Pickup and deliver customer boats by water
Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections on vehicle and load, ensuring safety, roadworthiness and customer satisfaction
Complete all necessary paperwork including daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, following applicable provincial and federal regulations
Provide feedback to management and service department regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
All other duties as assigned

What We'd Like From You

Able to work irregular hours during peak periods including weekends
Ability to lift, push, kneel, reach high locations and repetitive motion
Able to work in various weather conditions
Forklift certification and/or experience considered an asset
Marine or boat moving experience considered an asset
Valid Drivers License required
A & AR license considered an asset
Pleasure Craft Operators card required
