Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Build and assemble metal structures according to specifications and blueprints.
Perform welding tasks using various methods, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Utilize hand tools and machinery such as plasma cutting equipment and press brake machines to shape and cut materials.
Conduct quality inspections of finished products using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision.
Collaborate with team members to rig components for assembly and installation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Troubleshoot issues that arise during the fabrication process and implement effective solutions.

Experience

Proven experience in welding and fitting roles, with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge.
Familiarity with machining processes is a plus.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and welding equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
