Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient full-time Barista/Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing quality beverages, and managing cashier responsibilities in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food industry, strong time management skills, and a passion for delivering a positive customer experience. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where teamwork and attention to detail are valued.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards as a skilled barista.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing orders and transactions.
Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including serving baked goods or light snacks.
Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment.

Experience

Previous experience working in the food industry, particularly as a barista or cashier, is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
Experience in serving, food preparation, and food handling is desirable.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy are essential.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

This role requires individuals who are motivated, personable, and committed to providing outstanding service in a team-oriented environment. Prior experience in food service combined with excellent communication skills will contribute to success in this position.

Pay: $37.21-$39.23 per hour
