Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Busser, Food Runner, and Host, where you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. In this energetic position, you will ensure the restaurant runs smoothly by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, assisting servers with food delivery, and greeting guests with enthusiasm. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help foster a lively, hospitable atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, hospitality, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times
Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
Assist servers by delivering food orders accurately and swiftly from the kitchen to tables
Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and food handling tasks as needed
Ensure cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and proper disposal of trash
Maintain knowledge of menu items to answer guest questions confidently and assist with special requests
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling when necessary

Skills

Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, including serving and food preparation skills
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper cleaning procedures
Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cash register technology
Familiarity with hospitality practices, including guest services and meal preparation
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
