Full job description

Job Summary
We are looking for an entry level Welder/Fabricator (a year or so of experience) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some TIG welding experience, be mechanically inclined and have a desire for learning new things. Eventually this role will consist of welding, running the CNC Laser Cutter, de-burring parts and running the CNC Brake Press.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics or drawings to determine what operations need to be carried out.
Operate CNC Brake Press
Operate CNC Laser cutter
Weld with MIG and TIG Welder
Assemble finished parts and components
Measure materials with calipers, micrometers and other precision tools to ensure proper dimensions.
Help with shop improvements like painting walls or fixing things around the shop
Follow safety protocols during all fabrication and welding activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to manufacturing standards

Skills

Previous experience TIG welding thin stainless parts
Excellent problem-solving and math skills with attention to detail
Motivated to keep busy and learn new things
Experience TIG welding aluminum, running a laser cutter, CNC brake press or machine shop equipment are all considered assets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
