Position Overview

The Cardiovascular Technician performs, understands and is knowledgeable in all techniques of cardiology testing including, Holter monitor installation and analysis, stress testing, ECG, BP monitoring, and may include stress echo testing, Holter analysis, neurology EMG testing and some admin duties.

TEMPORARY FULL-TIME POSITION until September 2026 approximately

Criminal Check

As a pre-condition of employment:

All new HGH employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Police Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.

What we are looking for

College Degree as a Registered Cardiology Technologist or related medical field (i.e. Neurology certification)
Member of the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience within a Cardio- Service
Experience in performing ECG, Stress and Holter necessary.
Experience with Holter analysis, EMG and/or Stress echo preferred.
Training in neurology, including EEG and EMG, is an asset.
Effective time management.
Customer service-oriented approach.
Interpersonal relations.
Demonstrated use of infection control practices related to work.
Ability/experience with clinical administrative software.
Effective communication in both languages, French and English.
