Role Description
The Technical Parts & Inventory Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role in Kamloops, BC, focused on inventory cleanup, warehouse organization, parts support, and ERP implementation support.
This role is suited to someone early in their career who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and comfortable working with industrial parts, BOMs, inventory records, supply chain processes, and ERP systems such as Odoo.
Initial work will include matching physical parts to system data, correcting item records, improving stock locations, and helping build reliable inventory processes as the new ERP is implemented.
Key Responsibilities
· Clean up, validate, and maintain inventory records by reviewing item descriptions, part numbers, stock quantities, locations, BOM links, and ERP data against physical inventory.
· Receive, inspect, identify, label, organize, and store incoming parts and materials.
· Pick, stage, and pack parts using BOMs, work orders, and project requirements.
· Identify and locate mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, mining, and industrial components such as pumps, gears, motors, seals, shafts, bearings, and assemblies.
· Use Odoo or similar ERP systems to maintain item records, stock locations, inventory movements, and part traceability.
· Support ERP implementation by helping clean inventory data and connect BOMs, parts, purchasing, and stock movements.
· Coordinate pickups, deliveries, couriers, freight, and other transportation requirements to ensure parts and materials are available for service, projects, and aftermarket requirements.
· Maintain a safe, organized warehouse and support continuous improvement of inventory and logistics processes.
Qualifications
· Mechanical aptitude or a basic technical background in industrial, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering environments. Mining and manufacturing experience is an asset but not required
· Basic understanding of machinery components, BOMs, parts identification, and assemblies; willingness to keep learning.
· 2+ years of experience in inventory, warehouse, parts, logistics, shipping/receiving, or a related role.
· Basic experience or interest in inventory control, ERP transactions, stock cleanup, cycle counts, and Odoo or similar ERP systems.
· Basic understanding of supply chain flow, purchasing, receiving, stock transfers, and part traceability.
· Strong computer, spreadsheet, organizational, and recordkeeping skills with attention to detail.
· Strong communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently.
· Ability to safely lift and move parts and materials weighing up to 50 lbs, and heavier items using appropriate lifting equipment and safe material-handling practices
· Valid driver's license and ability to work safely in a hands-on industrial warehouse environment.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $55,000–$60,000 based on experience and fit. For a highly qualified candidate, we are prepared to offer compensation above this range.
