Overview:

We are looking for a Service Technician with the drive and ambition to succeed in a dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Service / Coach Bus Technician is responsible for maintaining a modern fleet of highway coaches and school buses. If you take pride in ensuring passengers travel safely and comfortably across BC, we want you on our team. Responsibilities shall include:

Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification
BC Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) License is preferred
Previous experience working on Prevost, MCI, or similar highway coach models is an asset
Diagnosing and repairing advanced diesel engines, drive train, and air brake systems/ air ride systems
Troubleshooting complex multiplex electrical systems and specialized coach HVAC units
Class 2 or better drivers license an asset
