Elevate Property Detailing is hiring one field team member.
This role is a fit for someone who is naturally organized, self-disciplined, and steady — the kind of person who can follow systems and help improve them. Our operation is improving every year, but we’re not perfect yet: some days are clean and dialed, and some days are challenging. We want someone who can stay calm in that reality and help turn challenging and “messy” into consistent and smooth.
This is not a fit if you need constant supervision or someone else’s structure to stay focused. We’re specifically hiring an “anchor” to deepen a culture of order, improvement, and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality exterior services (windows, gutters/roof drainage, siding/exteriors, and related detailing).
- Work safely at heights (ladders/roofs where required) and follow all safety standards.
- Use checklists/SOPs and help improve them through real feedback from the field.
- Communicate clearly with clients on-site (calm, respectful, professional).
- Document work and job notes using a smartphone and apps (photos, checklists, job updates).
- Maintain tools/vehicle/HQ organization (end-of-day resets, care of equipment).
- Participate in training, weekly improvement conversations, and building better systems over time.
Required qualifications:
- Lives in Kaslo or very nearby (daily starts from Kaslo).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varied conditions.
- Comfortable with heights and ladder work (training provided; safety is non-negotiable).
- Physically able to handle the job demands (including lifting/carrying up to ~50 lbs as part of regular work).
- Comfortable using a smartphone and apps for documentation and checklists.
- Strong communication skills and coachability (can take feedback without ego).
Desired (not required):
- Experience in exterior cleaning / trades / construction / landscaping.
- Strong “systems brain”: enjoys checklists, standards, and making processes cleaner.
- Quiet leadership: leads by example, steadies the day, improves the culture without needing a title.
- Mechanical aptitude (basic equipment care / troubleshooting).
Schedule
- Monday to Friday (seasonal)
- Days can vary with weather and travel; most workdays are around an 8-hour target, with some reaching 10 or sometimes more. Flexibility is required.
Our performance based pay model offers great income opportunities as a result of:
- focus and applied effort
- completing projects to standard
- continuous improvement
- taking opportunities for offering more services to clients — which can often extend your work day.
Smoking policy:
No smoking on job sites, in company vehicles, or in uniform (personal time is your own).
Seasonal note (important):
This is a seasonal role (roughly late March–late November). The off-season is typically a layoff period; EI eligibility depends on individual circumstances and Service Canada rules..
Pay: $19.00-$40.00 per hour
Benefits:
Work Location: On the road
