LONG HAUL CLASS 1 TRUCK DRIVERS

MUST SPEAK AND WRITE FLUENT ENGLISH (NEW USA REQUIRMENT)

OUT OF CONTINENT APPLICANTS will not be considered

We are a well established company and have been in the hauling industry for well over 30 years. We thrive on professionalism and old fashioned values.

We are looking for drivers with a minimum of 2 years driving experience in the Freight Industry with a minimum of 1-year flat deck experience. This position will take you to the USA and across Canada as well. All equipment is well maintained. Drivers will be assigned their own truck and trailer and will be responsible for reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the equipment.

*** MUST BE ABLE TO CROSS BORDER AND SPEAK AND WRITE FLUENT ENGLISH

Duties included but not limited to

Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections.
Preventative maintenance checks list.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform all other duties as requested. Tarping loads and un tarping loads
Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner.
Handle freight documents, including customs paperwork or customers packing list and Bill of lading.
Ensure cargo is properly secured in accordance with safety requirements and follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Complete electronic logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status.
Adhere to all safety and traffic laws.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics

Qualifications;

Class 1 license
Flat deck experience
Class 1 Driving, 2 years minimum (Required)
Valid Passport
All applicants require a clean abstract and will adhere to a criminal record search, US DOT drug and alcohol screen.
