Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager to join our retail team! In this pivotal role, you will lead daily store operations, motivate and develop staff, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your energetic leadership will drive sales and uphold the highest standards of store management.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to grow their career while making a positive impact on our customers and team members alike.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing store operations, including sales management, inventory control, and customer service excellence.
Lead and supervise team members, providing coaching, training, and development to foster a high-performing environment.
Oversee merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product displays and optimal pricing strategies that maximize sales potential.
Handle cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and cashiering duties with accuracy and professionalism
Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees.
Manage payroll processing, scheduling, and administrative tasks to maintain smooth store functioning.

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in retail or a related field with strong team management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and budgeting processes
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of recruiting techniques, interviewing processes, and training & development practices.
Ability to handle customer inquiries with professionalism using phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.
Basic math skills for sales calculations, inventory counts, and financial recordkeeping
Multilingual capabilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively
