As a Sales Broker at BIG Waterloo West, you'll represent an industry disruptor and Digital Innovation Award winner, backed by a powerful brand, AI-driven tools, and a dedicated service team. You'll build your own book of business with the backing of a national brokerage and best-in-class training, market access, and leadership support. What you’ll do:

Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and marketing across Personal, Commercial, and Life Insurance.
Assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions, presenting clear and competitive quotes.
Manage the full sales cycle - from first contact through closing, onboarding, and renewals.
Cross-sell and upsell to strengthen client relationships and improve retention.
Maintain accurate records and stay current on products, underwriting guidelines, and RIBO/LLQP standards.
Collaborate with the branch team and contribute to overall growth.

What we’re looking for:

Minimum 2 years of insurance industry or related high-performance sales experience.
RIBO: Must be licensed before starting, or currently OTL-licensed and willing to convert to RIBO before your start date.
LLQP: Required for those selling Life Insurance, with a minimum of 2 years' experience per our MGA requirements.
Strong knowledge of Personal Lines insurance, with a proven ability to generate new business and close sales.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented brokerage

An Asset:

Commercial or life insurance sales experience
An existing client/referral network in Waterloo Region
Experience building a book of business
Bilingual or multilingual skills (Mandarin/Cantonese, Vietnamese, Hindi, Gujarati, German, or Polish).
