The mission we are proposing:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Commercial Financial Analyst supports sales-related financial activities and acts as a business partner to the sales team. He or she is responsible for preparing and updating customer cost sheets and sales sheets to ensure the accuracy of prices and margins. The incumbent contributes to the continuous improvement of financial processes and provides analyses to support strategic decision-making.
An overview of your new position

Participate in the budgeting process and financial forecasting
Contribute to month-end closing by preparing and posting journal entries
Create and update sales tracking and pricing tools
Manage the price review and renewal process with clients
Participate in the preparation of margin reports and financial analyses
Improve pricing-related processes and optimize internal practices
Contribute to management reports and analyses for senior management
Calculate purchase price variances (PPV) for assigned clients and analyze cost variations (materials, conversion, and labor)
Conduct monthly weighted average cost (WAC) tests to ensure the accuracy of product costs
Manage the quarterly repricing process for affected clients
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial and operational information
Comply with company policies and procedures (OHS, GMP, etc.)
Perform any other related tasks as required by operational needs

You are the ideal candidate if you have

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting, with at least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience;
or
College diploma in accounting or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
Experience ideally gained in a manufacturing environment;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (advanced level);
Knowledge of the AS400 system (an asset);
Bilingualism required (French and English);

Bilingualism is required to communicate with certain clients and stakeholders and to analyze financial documents, most of which are in English.
