IDENTIFICATION

Job Title: Production Associate

Department: Operations

Reports to: Production Team Lead

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Production Associate supports daily production operations by assisting with the preparation, blending, packaging, handling, and movement of products while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards. This role works as part of the production team to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Operations

· Load and unload blending equipment and ensure established procedures are followed.

· Prepare materials, boxes, pails, and supplies required for production.

· Assist with product preparation, packaging, labelling, and palletizing activities as required.

· Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the production area.

· Support production flow to ensure schedules and operational requirements are met.

Food Safety, Quality, & Compliance

· Follow all allergen control procedures and food safety requirements.

· Comply with HACCP, SQF, health and safety, and company policies and procedures.

· Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks according to department schedules.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

· Report quality, equipment, or safety concerns to the Production Team Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education / Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.

· Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, warehouse, or a similar environment is considered an asset.

Skills & Competencies

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.

· Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE

L’Associé(e) à la production soutient les opérations quotidiennes de production en participant à la préparation, au mélange, à l’emballage, à la manutention et au déplacement des produits tout en assurant le respect des normes de sécurité alimentaire, de qualité et des standards de l’entreprise. Ce poste travaille en collaboration avec l’équipe de production afin d’assurer des processus de fabrication sécuritaires et efficaces.

TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS

Opérations de production

· Charger et décharger les équipements de mélange tout en respectant les procédures établies.

· Préparer les matières premières, boîtes, chaudières et fournitures nécessaires à la production.

· Participer aux activités de préparation, d’emballage, d’étiquetage et de palettisation des produits, selon les besoins.

· Déplacer les matières premières et les produits finis dans les différentes zones de production.

· Soutenir le déroulement des opérations afin de respecter les échéanciers et les besoins opérationnels.

Sécurité alimentaire, qualité et conformité

· Respecter toutes les procédures de contrôle des allergènes ainsi que les exigences en matière de sécurité alimentaire.

· Se conformer aux exigences HACCP, SQF, aux règles de santé et sécurité ainsi qu’aux politiques et procédures de l’entreprise.

· Effectuer les tâches de nettoyage et d’assainissement selon les horaires établis du département.

· Maintenir un environnement de travail propre, organisé et sécuritaire.

· Signaler toute préoccupation liée à la qualité, aux équipements ou à la sécurité au Chef d’équipe – Production.

QUALIFICATIONS ET EXIGENCES

Formation / Expérience

· Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent considéré comme un atout.

· Expérience préalable en fabrication, production alimentaire, entrepôt ou dans un environnement similaire considérée un atout.

Compétences et aptitudes

· Capacité à travailler efficacement en équipe.

· Capacité à effectuer un travail répétitif et physiquement exigeant.

· Capacité à travailler dans un environnement rapide et à s’adapter aux priorités changeantes.

· Souci du détail et engagement envers la qualité.

· Attitude positive et sens des responsabilités.

Capacité à suivre les procédures et à travailler de façon sécuritaire.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
