Vous êtes une personne rigoureuse, organisée et expérimentée en comptabilité? Mecaer America Inc. est à la recherche d’un comptable senior pour soutenir ses activités comptables quotidiennes.

Relevant du gestionnaire comptable, vous serez principalement responsable des comptes fournisseurs et clients, des rapprochements de comptes et du soutien aux clôtures mensuelles. Vous agirez également comme personne-ressource auprès des membres de l’équipe comptable.

Vos responsabilités

Examiner, codifier et traiter les factures fournisseurs avec exactitude et dans les délais requis;
Effectuer le rapprochement des factures, des bons de commande et des documents de réception;
Réconcilier les relevés fournisseurs et résoudre les écarts liés aux factures, notes de crédit et paiements;
Maintenir à jour les dossiers fournisseurs, notamment les modalités de paiement, les coordonnées bancaires et les documents fiscaux;
Collaborer avec les gestionnaires de programme pour assurer le suivi de la facturation clients;
Préparer, émettre, enregistrer et transmettre les factures clients;
Produire et envoyer les états de compte et soutenir les activités de recouvrement, au besoin;
Analyser et résoudre les écarts de facturation, les litiges et les divergences de comptes;
Participer aux clôtures mensuelles, notamment aux rapprochements de comptes et à la préparation des écritures de journal;
Répondre aux demandes des fournisseurs, des clients et des équipes internes concernant les factures, les paiements et les soldes;
Veiller au respect des PCGR canadiens ainsi que des politiques et procédures internes;
Soutenir les audits internes et externes en fournissant les documents et analyses requis.

Profil recherché

Diplôme d’études collégiales ou baccalauréat en comptabilité, finance, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe;
Titre CPA considéré comme un atout;
Minimum de cinq ans d’expérience en comptabilité;
Expérience en comptes fournisseurs et comptes clients;
Expérience en milieu manufacturier considérée comme un atout;
Connaissance des systèmes ERP, comme SAP ou un système équivalent;
Connaissance d’Infor LN considérée comme un atout;
Bonne maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et de la suite Office;
Connaissance des PCGR canadiens et des principes de comptabilité de coûts;
Bilinguisme en français et en anglais.

Are you an experienced, organized and detail-oriented accounting professional? Mecaer America Inc. is looking for a Senior Accountant to support its day-to-day accounting operations.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable, account reconciliations and month-end closing activities. You will also act as a resource for other members of the accounting team.

Your responsibilities

Review, code and process supplier invoices accurately and within established deadlines;
Perform three-way matching between supplier invoices, purchase orders and receiving documents;
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies involving invoices, credit notes and payments;
Maintain accurate supplier records, including payment terms, banking information and tax documentation;
Collaborate with Program Managers to monitor customer invoicing activities;
Prepare, issue, record and distribute customer invoices;
Generate and send customer statements and support collection activities when required;
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes and account differences;
Participate in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal-entry support;
Respond to inquiries from suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding invoices, payments and account balances;
Ensure compliance with Canadian GAAP and internal policies and procedures;
Support internal and external audits by providing the required documentation and analyses.

What we are looking for

College diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field;
CPA designation considered an asset;
Minimum of five years of accounting experience;
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable;
Manufacturing experience considered an asset;
Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP or an equivalent system;
Knowledge of Infor LN considered an asset;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite;
Knowledge of Canadian GAAP and cost-accounting principles;
Fluency in French and English.
