Job Overview:
We are seeking a Roofer/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various roofing projects, performing manual labor tasks, and supporting the roofing team to ensure efficient project completion.
Duties:
- Assist in the installation and repair of roofs using materials such as shingles, metal, and asphalt
- Perform general labor duties including carrying materials, loading and unloading equipment, and cleaning work areas
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete roofing tasks
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Work collaboratively with the roofing team to meet project deadlines
- Caulk joints, apply adhesives, and perform other sealing techniques as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in roofing or construction is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus
- Proficiency in using hand tools commonly used in roofing projects
- Capable of heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role of a roofer/laborer
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
