Full job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a professional Sandblaster to join our team. Your role would include sandblasting metal parts, material handling, applying adhesives while ensuring all work is done in a safe and timely manner. You will report to the Rubber Supervisor at our flagship location in Langley, B.C. and are expected to work on the dayshift from 5:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. – Monday to Thursday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sandblast all types of metals.
Maintenance of sandblast equipment.
Apply primer and bonding agents with spray gun,brush and roller.
Meet production targets and timelines on various jobs.
Operate and equipment and perform tasks safely.
Operate forklift.
Clean and maintain work area.
Complete all quality documentation.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Must have at least two (2) years of work experience in the same field.
Industrial Sandblasting with SCBA in a dedicated indoor blasting booth.
Able to operate a Forklift.
Able to read blueprints and follow written work instructions in English language.
Positive attitude in a team environment.
Dependable with strong work ethics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
