Job Overview

We’re growing our team and are currently hiring for all Back of House (BOH) positions, with a particular focus on experienced Senior Sous Chefs and Chefs de Partie.

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking people who thrive in a busy kitchen and enjoy being part of a strong team. For our Senior Sous Chef and Chef de Partie positions, we’re seeking experienced culinary professionals who bring leadership, consistency, organization and a genuine passion for great food. These roles are ideal for people who take pride in their craft, work well under pressure and know how to contribute to a positive, efficient kitchen.

As part of our BOH team, you’ll help keep the kitchen running smoothly—from food preparation and cooking to maintaining a clean, organized and efficient workspace. Our Senior Sous Chef will take on a key leadership role in supporting kitchen operations, maintaining quality and consistency, and helping lead and develop the team. Our Chefs de Partie will be responsible for confidently managing their stations, maintaining high standards and working closely with the rest of the brigade to deliver a consistently great product.

Duties

Prepare, cook and plate menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards and portion guidelines.
Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, taste and presentation throughout every service.
Ensure assigned stations are properly stocked, organized and prepared before, during and after service.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation and food-safety procedures at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen, including workstations, equipment and storage areas.
Communicate effectively with fellow BOH team members and FOH staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
Assist with receiving, rotating, labeling and properly storing food and kitchen supplies.
Monitor product quality, freshness and inventory levels while helping to minimize food waste.
Assist with prep work, opening and closing duties, and general kitchen responsibilities as required.
Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
Contribute to a positive, respectful and team-oriented kitchen culture.
Support training and development of junior kitchen team members when required.
Chefs de Partie: Take ownership of assigned stations, ensuring proper preparation, organization, execution and consistency during service.
Senior Sous Chef: Assist in leading daily kitchen operations, supervising and mentoring BOH staff, coordinating service and maintaining kitchen standards.
Senior Sous Chef: Support scheduling, inventory management, ordering, food-cost control and waste reduction.
Senior Sous Chef: Work closely with the Chef/Kitchen leadership team on menu execution, specials, quality control and continuous improvement.
Follow all company policies, health and safety requirements, and applicable food-service regulations.
Be willing to jump in and support other areas of the kitchen as needed—teamwork comes first.

Experience

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience required, especially in food service or kitchen roles (Chef de Partie - 1 year; Seniour Souds Chef - 5 years)
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Experience with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus but not required
Willingness to learn new skills related to food service, cleaning, and hospitality operations

**Remuneration is based on the candidate experience and skill set conducive to presently maintaining and, in the near future, improving present quality to ensure continued growth of the operation. Candidate's salary will increase based on job performance**
