Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Dockside and In Store Staff member at our Windermere Marina and Skeleton Lke locations, where you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional customer experiences both at our bustling dockside location and within our store environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with customers, assist with food service operations, and ensure smooth daily activities. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming atmosphere, support food preparation and handling, and uphold the highest standards of safety and sanitation. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service in both dockside and in-store settings
Assist with food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions
Manage food handling procedures adhering to safety and sanitation regulations
Support food service activities such as serving, upselling menu items, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas
Ensure proper cash handling practices and balance registers at shift end
Maintain a clean, organized environment by following sanitation protocols and food safety guidelines

Skills

Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for quick and accurate transactions
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
Excellent customer service skills to create positive interactions with guests
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counts
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is a plus
Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
