quality products and excellent customer service. We are looking for full time bakers to join our growing team with a minimum of two years experience in middle eastern cuisine

Duties

· Formulate, prepare, and bake authentic Arabic and Turkish specialty breads, rolls, and buns (including Simit, Ka'ak, and Pogaca) completely from scratch using standard baking defaults.

· Expertly produce high-quality traditional Middle Eastern sweets and desserts, with an emphasis on baklava, knafeh, tulumba, and layered phyllo or kataifi pastries.

· Create, bake, artisan-craft, and decorate professional chocolate cakes; custom celebration cakes; cookies; and retail pastry items.

· Prepare dough for bread and sweet goods, batters for cookies and cakes, and icing and frosting according to the recipe or special customer order, including custom decoration in Arabic and Turkish languages for birthdays and special occasions.

· Prepare custom-made pastries based on customer preference. Recommend recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers (e.g., gluten-free or vegan desserts).

· Train the bakery staff in the correct technical preparation, handling, and traditional execution of specialized Middle Eastern confections, doughs, and syrups.

· Ensure all final products strictly meet established corporate quality, taste, and presentation standards.

Skills

Proven experience in baking and food preparation within a bakery or restaurant environment.
Skilled in cake decorating techniques to produce attractive and creative designs.
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent customer service skills to enhance the overall customer experience.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, baking tools, and packaging materials used in a bakery setting.
Experience in the food industry that demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork.
