Pour un de nos clients, un constructeur aéronautique de renommée mondiale nous recrutons un Spécialiste acoustique et vibrations.

Dans ce rôle, vous serez appelé à :

Collaborer avec l’expert en ingénierie responsable des simulations numériques et des mesures en laboratoire afin de soutenir toutes les activités des programmes nécessitant des modèles de simulation avancés et/ou des validations par essais en laboratoire.
Soutenir les équipes responsables de l’acoustique cabine sur différents programmes afin de résoudre les problèmes d’acoustique et de vibrations liés à l’ingénierie durant la production, la livraison ou en service, tout en maintenant les hauts standards de confort acoustique et vibratoire.
Collaborer avec des groupes de travail élargis (ingénierie, production) afin de soutenir l’intégration de nouveaux développements (connectivité, aménagement intérieur, fonctionnalités, confort, etc.) dans ces aéronefs, tout en veillant au maintien des standards élevés de confort acoustique cabine.
Travailler en équipe afin de proposer, évaluer et développer les outils et technologies qui seront intégrés a de potentiel futurs avions..

Pour atteindre ces objectifs, vous devrez :

Créer des modèles de simulation (FE, SEA, lancer de rayons) afin d’évaluer et d’optimiser les choix de conception visant à préserver ou améliorer le confort acoustique cabine.
Développer des méthodes et outils de simulation afin de repousser continuellement les limites des modèles pour répondre aux besoins du développement de l’acoustique cabine des aéronefs.
Mettre en place et participer à des campagnes d’essais afin de valider des concepts de conception et des technologies.
Planifier et participer à des essais en vol et au sol afin de quantifier le confort acoustique cabine ou de caractériser l’environnement vibratoire dans certaines zones spécifiques de l’aéronef.
Analyser les données d’essais, rédiger des rapports techniques et communiquer vos conclusions et recommandations.

Ce que vous apportez:

Vous détenez un baccalauréat en ingénierie, complété par une maîtrise ou un doctorat en acoustique.
Vous possédez idéalement de 3 à 8 années d’expérience technique pertinente dans l’industrie (transport ou construction, par exemple).
Vous avez des connaissances générales en acoustique et vibrations, incluant la modélisation, les techniques de mesure et le traitement du signal.
Vous possédez une expertise plus avancée dans l’un des deux domaines suivants : les méthodes par éléments finis (appliquées à la dynamique des structures et à l’acoustique) ou la conception sonore dans les bâtiments ou salles de spectacle, idéalement.
Vous êtes reconnu pour favoriser un environnement de travail sain, éthique et respectueux, tout en promouvant la diversité et l’inclusion.
Vous démontrez une capacité à planifier votre travail en fonction des objectifs à long terme et des priorités à court terme, ainsi qu’à gérer plusieurs activités simultanément.

ENGLISH

In this role, you will be expected to:

Collaborate with the Engineering Expert responsible for the numerical simulation and Lab measurements to support all programs activities requiring advanced simulation models and/or tests in Lab validations.
Support teams responsible for cabin acoustics on differents programs to resolve engineering-related cabin acoustics and vibration issues during production, delivery, or in service, ensuring high standards of acoustic and vibratory comfort are maintained.
Collaborate with extended working groups (engineering, production) to support the integration of new developments (connectivity, interior, features, comfort, etc.) into these aircraft while ensuring cabin acoustic comfort meets high standards.
Work with colleagues to propose, assess, and develop the tools and technologies that will be integrated into potential future aircraft.

To achieve these objectives, you will be required to:

Create simulation models (FE, SEA, ray tracing) to assess and optimize design choices leading to preserve or enhance cabin acoustic comfort,
Develop simulation methods and tools to always push limits of models to answer needs of aircraft cabin acoustics development,
Set-up and participate in test campaigns to validate design concepts and technologies,
Plan and participate in flight and ground tests to quantify cabin acoustic comfort or characterize the vibratory environment in specific areas of the aircraft.
Analyze test data, write technical reports, and communicate your conclusions and recommendations.

What you bring;

You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, complemented by a Master’s or Ph.D. in acoustics.
You ideally have 3 to 8 years of relevant technical experience in the industry (transportation or construction, for example).
You possess general knowledge in acoustics and vibrations, including modeling, measurement techniques, and signal processing.
You have more advanced expertise in one of the following two areas: finite element methods (applied to structural dynamics and acoustics) or sound design in buildings or performance halls, ideally.
You are recognized for fostering a healthy, ethical, and respectful work environment while promoting diversity and inclusion.
You demonstrate the ability to plan your work according to long-term objectives and short-term priorities, and to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to your audience and convey your messages confidently.
You have a curious, critical, and innovative mindset that enables you to develop your knowledge and skills and be a source of new ideas.
You are fluent in English; French is an asset.
