Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher/Customer Service representative to join our team. This role involves coordinating transportation and logistics operations while providing exceptional support to clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with various management systems, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and problem-solving are essential for success.

Duties

Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using transportation management systems and AVAAL software
Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of goods
Communicate with carriers, clients, and internal departments via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette
Enter data accurately into systems and other supply chain management platforms
Analyze shipping data to identify trends, delays, or issues, providing solutions to optimize logistics operations
Oversee freight documentation, tracking, and status updates to ensure transparency and accountability
Assist with supply chain coordination, including 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers
Support shipping & receiving activities, including inventory management and order processing
Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities and customer interactions for reporting purposes
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally

Skills

Having experience with transportation management systems AVAAL and shipping & receiving software would be considered as an important factor for Hiring process
Fluency in english is required. knowledge of Punjabi and/or Hindi is considered a strong asset
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and typing speed
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
Ability to analyze logistics data for operational improvements
Experience with multi-line phone systems for efficient call handling
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail in documentation and data management
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining independence in task executionThis position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment and are committed to delivering outstanding customer service through effective coordination and communication.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
