Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role involves preparing delicious sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and managing transactions accurately in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong multitasking skills, and have a passion for delivering a positive dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders and payments
Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections, upselling items when appropriate
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards
Ensure food handling procedures are followed to uphold hygiene and safety regulations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
Restock supplies as needed and assist with kitchen duties when required
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally

Qualifications

Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards is advantageous
Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if needed
A positive attitude, team player mentality, and a commitment to food safety standards
6 Month - 1Year of fast food experience from Burger King, Wendy's, A&W or McDonald is preferred.

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
