En tant que barista, vous devrez :

Accueillir les clients en identifiant leurs préférences et leurs besoins en matière de café Informer les clients en présentant et en expliquant la carte des boissons à base de café et en répondant à leurs questions Préparer les boissons à base de café en respectant les recettes et les techniques établies (ex. : espresso, latte, cappuccino) Vendre du café ainsi que du matériel de mouture et de préparation en expliquant les différences entre les variétés de grains et les machines, et en faisant la démonstration du fonctionnement du matériel Gérer les stocks en réapprovisionnant les grains de café et le matériel de préparation, en assurant le suivi des fournitures et des produits (viennoiseries, biscuits) pour le comptoir café, et en apportant un soutien dans d'autres zones du café selon les besoins (ex. : espace libre-service, caisse) Aider l'équipe de restauration à servir le petit-déjeuner, les viennoiseries, le déjeuner et les soupes lorsque cela est nécessaire Veiller au bon fonctionnement du matériel en respectant les consignes d'utilisation, en résolvant les pannes, en gérant les fournitures, en effectuant la maintenance préventive et en faisant appel à des services de réparation si besoin Maintenir un environnement de travail sûr et sain en respectant les normes de l'entreprise et les règles d'hygiène Améliorer la qualité des prestations en étudiant, évaluant et repensant les processus, en mettant en œuvre des changements, et en veillant à l'entretien et à l'esthétique du magasin et du comptoir café

Profil recherché : Excellentes compétences en service à la clientèle Une expérience préalable en tant que barista constitue un atout Capacité à comprendre et à exécuter des instructions orales et écrites, et à demander des précisions si nécessaire Bonnes qualités relationnelles et capacité à travailler en équipe Aptitude physique à accomplir les tâches liées au poste

As a Barista, you will:

Welcome customers by determining their coffee interests and needs
Educate customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu, answering questions
Prepare coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino
Sell coffee and coffee grinding/brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates
Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar and support in other areas of the Cafe as needed, such as micro market, cashier
Assist the Food Services Team with serving breakfast, pastries, lunch, soups, when needed.
Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar

About you:

Excellent customer service skills
Previous work experience as a Barista is an asset
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
