Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our production facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes, maintain high-quality standards, and lead a team of production workers to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of production workers to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and production timelines.
Collaborate with planning, quality, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for team members.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and resolve production bottlenecks or quality concerns.
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
Enforce safety protocols and participate in safety audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, health & safety regulations, and labor laws.
Support implementation of lean manufacturing principles and process efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, tools, and production processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and SOPs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software (e.g., ERP/MRP systems).
Understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and moving equipment.
May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.
Permanent position on the night shift.

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
