La Galerie LeRoyer est l'une des principales galeries d'art contemporain au Canada. Spécialisée dans la représentation d'artistes canadiens et internationaux de renom, nous offrons trois espaces dans le Vieux-Montréal, et un à Yorkville à Toronto. Nous sommes à la recherche de nouveaux membres d'équipe qui sont passionnés par l'art et la vente, qui sont confiants, enthousiastes et amicaux tout en maintenant un niveau de professionnalisme. L'environnement est dynamique et en constante évolution. Avec une petite équipe, le poste disponible offre une expérience pratique unique. Le candidat doit avoir des connaissances en histoire de l'art, idéalement en art contemporain.

Exigences:

*** Doit être en mesure de travailler les weekends ***

- 5 ans d’expérience dans la vente d’art ou de produits de luxe.
- Excellentes capacités de vente et excellent service client
- Éducation: DEC, Baccalauréat ou expérience similaire.
- Maîtrise informatique de l’utilisation de Google Apps (Chrome, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Gmail, calendrier), Mac OS X, MS Office (Word et Excel)
- Connaissance de base d'Adobe Creative Suite: Acrobat, Photoshop
- Disponible pour travailler le week-end
- Parfaitement bilingue français / anglais, écrit et oral

Tâches:
- Vendre des oeuvres d’art
- Travailler en collaboration avec les autres employés pour fournir un soutien sur un large éventail de tâches administratives et opérations quotidiennes
- Fournir efficacement des solutions aux défis des clients
- Coordonner et exécuter de manière indépendante les courriels, les envois, la documentation et la logistique de transport
- Tenir le directeur informé de l'évolution des ventes, projets, ainsi que toutes les informations pertinentes ou utiles relatives aux activités quotidiennes
- Respecter la confidentialité des informations sensibles, y compris sur les clients et les affaires de la galerie.

Galerie LeRoyer, is one of Canada's leading contemporary art galleries. Specializing in the representation of renowned Canadian and international artists, we offer three spaces in Old Montreal, and one in Yorkville in Toronto. We are looking for new team members who are passionate about art and sales, who are confident, enthusiastic, and friendly while still maintaining a level of professionalism. The environment is dynamic and constantly evolving. With a small team, the available position offers a unique hands-on experience. The candidate must have knowledge in art history, ideally contemporary art.

Requirements:

***Available to work on Weekends***

- Excellent sales and customer service skills

- Education: DEC, Bachelor's degree or similar experience

- Minimum 3 years sales experience or similar field

- Computer proficiency using Google Suite, Mac OS X, MS Office

- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Acrobat, Photoshop - an asset.

- Fluently bilingual in French and English, written and oral

- Flexible availability i.e. ability to work weekends is an asset

Roles:

- Selling, guiding, and advising art collectors and clients

- Creating and establishing relationships with local and international clients

- Providing knowledge and information about the artists and the art market

- Self-motivated, methodical and organized.

- Attention to details

- Work collaboratively with the team to provide support on a wide range of customer services, administrative and miscellaneous operational tasks

- Independently coordinate and execute emails, mailings, documentation and logistics

- Capable of delivering creative ideas

- Aiding in the organization of events, openings, private viewings, special events.
