Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Wedding Event Coordinator to orchestrate unforgettable wedding experiences from start to finish. In this energetic role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and venue staff, ensuring every element of the wedding runs smoothly and exceeds expectations. Your passion for hospitality, exceptional organizational skills, and flair for customer service will be instrumental in creating seamless, memorable celebrations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your talent in event planning, guest services, and hospitality management while bringing couples’ dream weddings to life.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for their wedding day.
Coordinate with vendors such as caterers, florists, photographers, and entertainers to ensure timely delivery and setup of services.
Develop detailed event timelines and checklists to keep all aspects of the wedding on schedule.
Oversee venue setup, decor arrangements, and logistics to guarantee a flawless execution on the day of the event.
Manage guest services by greeting attendees, providing assistance, and resolving any issues promptly with a positive attitude.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure the best value while maintaining quality standards.
Handle budgeting tasks by tracking expenses and ensuring all arrangements stay within the agreed financial plan.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members through clear updates and regular check-ins to maintain momentum.

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality, event planning, or restaurant/hotel settings is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of marketing principles related to event promotion and client engagement.
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
Demonstrated ability in upselling additional services or upgrades to enhance client satisfaction.
Skilled in negotiation, budgeting, time management, and organizational tasks.
Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
Experience in hotel or restaurant environments is a plus; familiarity with hospitality standards is advantageous.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and delivering outstanding customer service.
