La Maison Montessori House (LMMH) is looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable French-speaking Classroom Assistant to join our warm and supportive team.

Responsibilities

As a French Classroom Assistant, you will:

Support the classroom teacher in delivering daily activities in French.
Assist children with classroom work and encourage independence.
Help supervise and manage the classroom throughout the day.
Assist children with toileting and personal care while maintaining their dignity and respecting school procedures.
Prepare and maintain Montessori classroom materials.
Clean and organize classroom shelves and learning materials daily.
Ensure the classroom remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
Support snack, lunch, transitions, outdoor play, and daily routines.
Foster a positive, caring, and respectful environment for every child.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

Is fluent in French (spoken is essential; written French is an asset).
Enjoys working with young children.
Is patient, nurturing, dependable, and organized.
Takes pride in maintaining a clean and orderly classroom.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Has previous experience working with children (preferred but not required).
Has or is willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check and First Aid/CPR certification (if required).
