Full job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Stone Countertop Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, assembly, and construction, with proficiency in operating heavy equipment and power tools. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on producing high-quality stone countertops for residential and commercial projects. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge, woodworking skills, and experience with manufacturing processes to ensure precision and efficiency in fabrication tasks.

Duties

Measure, cut, and shape natural and engineered stone materials according to project specifications
Operate machinery such as CNC machines, saws, grinders, and polishers with precision
Assemble countertop components ensuring proper fit and finish
Use hand tools and power tools to perform detailed fabrication work
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment including heavy machinery and welding tools
Work with welding and machining techniques to reinforce or modify components as needed
Assist in loading, unloading, and moving heavy materials using forklift or other heavy equipment
Follow safety protocols during all fabrication processes to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

Proven experience as a stone countertop fabricator
Mechanical knowledge related to machining and assembly processes
Proficiency in operating forklift, overhead lifting equipment, and hand/power tools
Experience with older bridge saw machinery, machining techniques, and material handling
Strong understanding of construction practices and manufacturing safety standards
Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately
Warehouse experience or familiarity with material storage is a plus
Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
