Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acupuncturist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong understanding of medical terminology. This role involves providing acupuncture treatments to patients, assessing their needs, and developing personalized treatment plans to promote overall wellness and alleviate various health conditions. The Acupuncturist will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health history and conditions to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on lifestyle changes that may enhance their well-being.
Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment sessions and outcomes in compliance with medical standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including referrals when necessary.
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in acupuncture and integrative medicine.

Experience

A valid license to practice acupuncture in the state is required.
Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong background in patient care with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within a healthcare environment.
