Come join the team at Roncesvalles Animal Hospital! This person must have strong customer service values, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, initiative and of course passion for helping pets and their parents.

ABOUT US

We are a privately and independently owned , 2.5 doctor small animal practice with a well rounded support team of dedicated and qualified individuals. We have been servicing the Roncesvalles, High Park and surrounding community for over 30 years.

Our plans are to continue to offer excellent service and patient care while embracing practice growth in the future, so we can meet the demand for excellent quality and caring Veterinary services in the neighbourhood.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate for us would be a mature and dedicated individual with client care experience in the veterinary field. This person should independently be able to oversee the front of desk to ensure all our clients and pets needs are met while ensuring the day to day operations within the clinic run smoothly.

A background in veterinary reception is required.

Reception duties may include but aren't limited to:

- Answering calls and emails

- Client education and support such as providing information on vaccines, spays and neuters, directing clients to emergency services, basic diet recommendations, vaccines, wellness exams and lab work, flea tick and heartworm testing and prevention

- Booking appointments

- Discussing products and services

- Impeccable record keeping

- Managing insurance claims, referral forms and any other documents or paperwork required

We provide basic training and orientation, and have a complete package that includes competitive wages based on experience, continuing education allowance, discounted pet products and services, uniforms and more.

To further build our team we have routine meetings, lunch and learn with industry reps, and have fun outings like holiday parties and staff outings.

Only serious candidates with proper qualifications and experience will be reviewed and responded to.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
