Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Lead to oversee production operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have a background in manufacturing and assembly processes. As a Line Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line workers to ensure efficient workflow.
Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
Train new employees on assembly techniques, safety protocols, and the proper use of hand and power tools.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
Collaborate with management to implement process improvements that enhance productivity and quality.
Maintain accurate records of production output, including any issues or discrepancies encountered during the shift.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the production area.

Experience

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role.
Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
Familiarity with assembly processes and warehouse operations is highly desirable.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively and efficiently.
