Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Your ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
Handle cash transactions, process payments through the POS system, and ensure accurate cash handling.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to meet demand.
Adhere to all safety and health regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.

Skills

Proficient in bartending techniques with knowledge of various cocktails and drink recipes.
Strong cash handling skills with experience in cashiering and basic math for accurate transaction processing.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
