Overview

Atwill-Morin Structure, a well-established general contractor, specializing in the repair and restoration of concrete structures, our mission is to preserve the architectural heritage of Quebec and Ontario. Atwill-Morin currently employs nearly 1,000 skilled masonry, concrete, and scaffolding professionals in the Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, and Toronto areas. Our work stands the test of time, and we are constantly striving to become even better.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct formwork tailored to project specifications.
Assemble, install, and dismantle formwork systems using hand tools and power tools with precision and safety.
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary for lifting and positioning formwork components.
Install rebar reinforcement within formwork structures to strengthen concrete elements according to engineering plans.
Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and restoration work to ensure smooth surfaces and structural integrity.
Collaborate with masons, concrete finishers, and other trades to coordinate tasks efficiently during construction or renovation projects.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related fields with a focus on concrete forming or masonry work.
Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, drywall installation, caulking, welding, flooring installation, and heavy lifting techniques.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively on construction sites.
Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, and restoration processes.
Strong understanding of schematics and technical instructions for precise formwork assembly.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions for renovation or new construction projects.
