Payroll Clerk

Payroll Department

Under the direction of the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll Clerk:

processes time entries and verifies accuracy;
contacts schools for missing or incorrect time entries;
updates time entry for summer school programs;
troubleshoots and responds to time entry and general inquiries;
assists with the set-up of casual and term employees;
performs general clerical duties;
performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

one year of Community college in a related field;
two years of related experience;
good keyboarding skills;
good interpersonal skills;
basic Excel skills;
individuals who possess an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

This is a permanent full time (1.0 FTE) position with an annual salary range of $56,299 – $60,506 .A comprehensive benefits and pension plan are also available.

The anticipated start date : October 1, 2026
